University Of Portland

Over the course of our seven-year relationship with University of Portland, we’ve been the gatekeeper of the brand. This time we were hired to guide the creative strategy and design of what would become a record-setting advancement campaign.

Goal

Develop a seamless communications environment to compel prospective donors to participate in the university's $175 million campaign to fund academic, capital, and endowment needs. Memorialize achievements and communicate how it continues to guide soaring visions.

Outcome

The fundraising goal was exceeded by almost $7 million, making it one of the largest advancement campaigns ever for a Pacific Northwest private college or university. Our work, showcasing stories of students, faculty, and alumni who have elevated the university to unprecedented heights, also received a Grand Gold Award from the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) Awards for the design of the identity, case statement, major initiative brochures, microsite, newsletter, gala, and advertising.
