Advancement Campaign Ensures Century-Long Legacy

MENLO PARK, CA — Michael Patrick Partners, a nationally recognized creative agency, announced today that it has completed its work on an advancement campaign for Shawnigan Lake School in British Columbia, Canada.

Widely regarded as one of the foremost international boarding schools, Shawnigan Lake approached its 100th birthday and embarked on a centennial capital campaign to transform its campus and secure its financial future.

The agency wrote the global campaign’s long-range plan (statistical analysis and expenditures) and developed a messaging strategy to help the board of governors launch and guide campaign communications. From there, the agency created the brand identity, digital development presentations and a case statement.

The campaign brought to life present-day stories of strength that exemplify the school’s century-long legacy of dedication to providing students with an education that encompasses the mind, body, character and spirit. It raised $50 million in cash and pledges — exceeding the $40 million goal.
