Historic Pacific Northwest Advancement Campaign

MENLO PARK, CA — Michael Patrick Partners, a nationally recognized creative agency, announced today that its work on the University of Portland’s RISE Campaign has helped exceed the funding goal.

Over the past four years, the two organizations worked diligently to roll out a distinctive communication strategy to drive the campaign. At the campaign close, the university had raised $182 million from a broad base of 6,000 donors; total donations are expected to climb to $200 million — exceeding the original goal and making it one of the largest funding campaigns ever for a Pacific Northwest private college or university.

The agency’s work showcased stories of students, faculty and alumni who have elevated the university to unprecedented heights. It received a Grand Gold Award from the Council for Advancement and Support of Education’s awards program for the identity, case statement, literature, website, newsletter, gala and advertising design.
