Siebel Systems
Siebel Systems was a software company engaged in the design, development, marketing, and support of customer relationship management (CRM) applications—notably Siebel CRM. In 2005, it was acquired by Oracle.
Goal
When Tom Siebel was at Oracle, he admired the annual reports our studio had designed for Larry Ellison. So when Tom founded his own company, he naturally asked his marketing team to work with us to create Siebel Systems’ inaugural financial story.
Outcome
We crafted an award-winning presentation that demonstrated Siebel’s bold vision to ensure 100% customer satisfaction. For the design we interleafed personal letters of thanks—written on company letterhead from high-profile CEO’s who comprised Siebel’s impressive client base—into the operations’ review section. The annual report also featured exquisite black and white portraits shot by renowned Hollywood celebrity photographer Greg Gorman. It was an undersized perfect-bound print production that included the use of three separate uncoated stocks.
