Santa Clara University was navigating the quiet phase of the most aggressive fundraising campaign in its history—a $1 billion endeavor. In preparation for the event, campus leadership acknowledged a significant brand transformation was in order to demonstrate sustained commitment. As a result, a comprehensive brand communications strategy assignment was initiated.

Goal

Our agency was asked to improve brand relevance that would enable the university to compete on the same level with Boston College, Georgetown, and Notre Dame. The assignment included evolving all major communications touchpoints.

Outcome

During a three-year engagement, we developed a comprehensive brand communications strategy that included a brand platform, messaging systems, and a brand architecture model. New undergraduate and graduate admission enrollment marketing campaigns were designed and written. And we were honored to be charged with launching the visionary fundraising campaign.
