Santa Clara University Viewbook Continues to Win Top Awards
SAN FRANCISCO, CA – Michael Patrick Partners, a nationally recognized creative agency, announced today the undergraduate admission enrollment viewbook it created for Santa Clara University received a first-place award from the Jesuit Advancement Administrators (JAA) Recognition Awards.
The viewbook was the keystone communications tactic created for the multilevel marketing campaign used to help prospective students from around the world discover the rewards of earning a Santa Clara University diploma.
Thematically, the campaign weaves a story of the only institution that has spent the past two centuries effecting change from the heart of the most innovative place on earth: Silicon Valley. As an incubator of ideas and ideals that embody the region's spirit, the university continues to forge solutions to help solve the world's most pressing challenges.
Keith Pacoma, the agency’s senior designer, says, “It’s good to see our trademark approach is appreciated by education professionals—classic design and thought-provoking copy that has attracted mainstream clients for forty years. By developing communications strategies grounded in a university’s culture, we build education brands that will stand the test of time.”
In addition to this new award, the work has also received accolades including a Grand Gold from Council for Advancement and Support of Education, Gold and Best of Category from American Advertising Awards (formerly the ADDYs), plus recognition from Graphic Design USA, and University & College Designers Association. Robert Maidens, associate creative director, adds, “We’re so proud of this work—it’s one of our many projects that demonstrates how to create a differentiated education brand. It was also the start of our overall image refresh for Santa Clara University.”
